March Madness
February and March have been cold & wet (with a couple of really nice days sprinkled here and there). We spent lots of days indoors, counting down the days until spring.
Josiah is working on his crawling. He hasn't got it yet, but with patience, he can get to where he wants to go. He just cut his third tooth, and more are coming soon. He loves to sunbathe, play on the floor, bounce around in his Josiah jump-up and play with his brothers - most often Simeon.
Here's safety-inspector Simeon testing to see if the equipment is installed properly. He thinks it is his big-brotherly responsibility to demonstrate for Josiah - "Here's what you can do when they don't strap you in."
Our boys love play-dough, Silly Putty and goo. Good wintertime fun.
Celebrating a Happy Birthday with George Washington. The boys made tri-corner hats, ate hoe-cakes - one of GW's favorite breakfasts, recited some of his famous rules of civility, read stories and played George Washington trivia bingo. It was a grand party, followed by a no-cavity dentist appointment. They love their No Cavity Club t-shirts, modeled here with their GW gear.
A favorite Black family past-time - any season will do for a good wrestling match (also known as sandwich).
Captain Jaroni. What, you don't remember scripture stories about Captain Jaroni. Well, we tell them.

Yeah, Sandwich! A very great game. Ahh, memories...
PICTURES!!! Well, these are a great Easter treat! I've been checking the blog every day, but I guess I missed it Thursday night before we left for Lemoore. I love every one! It's hard to believe the Josiah is nearly crawling and we haven't met him yet! How many more days till June 17??? THANK YOU for the great photos!
Love, Nina
Fun, fun, fun. It's always fun to see what's up in your neck of the woods. Looks like you've got some great indoor activities going on.
